What are the care scheme locations & opening times?
Our care schemes are located at Ysgol Treganna, Canton and Ysgol Melin Gruffydd, Whitchurch. They are open from 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday.
For which ages do you provide care?
We are registered to care for children who are already in Reception up to Year 6
What changes will be in place due to COVID-19?
Current Health & Safety restrictions mean that, unfortuntunately, this year we will be operating with a limited timetable of activities due to not being permitted to organise weekly trips or workshops run by external organisations. We are hoping that as rules relax this will change and the we can organise and publish a schedule of activities by the end of June '21. Each day will still offer craft actvities, sports and games and we will be spending as much time as possible outdoors playing in the sun!
There willl be a new signing in / out system in place and we kindly ask that - unless it is necessary for you to drop off your child/ren at 8:30am - you drop them off slightly later in the morning so that drop off times are staggered and we avoid the build up of queues. Cleaners will be regularly cleaning and sanitising the settings and staff will implement social distancing and mask wearing when necessary.
I can't log in to complete a booking - why is this?
In order to log onto the gofal.mentercaerdydd.org page you will need to create a separate account to your main Menter Caerdydd website account. If you have already created an account but can't remember the password, please email gwenno@mentercaerdydd in order for it to be reset.
I haven't recieved a confirmation email - does this mean my booking isn't confirmed?
In most instances, when you book through the site an email confirmation will automatically be sent out to you on completion of the booking. On the rare occasion that the email doesn't reach you, this does not mean the booking hasn't been confirmed and an email receipt from PayPal can also be taken as confirmation of the booking. If you are still unsure as to whether or not your booking was successful, please contact email@example.com and we can check the system for your order.
